Drifter’s Reef Hotel Response to COVID-19
As a means to limit personal contact and practice social distance, we have implemented the following changes at our hotel. This is for your safety and the safety of our staff.

• No more than 10 people in our front office area.
• After check-in, call our office at 458-5414 for any needs or questions. We will address any issues this way. Please do not come to the office.
• Only one guest from your party should come in the office for check-in.
• Hotel office restroom is not open to the public.
• No coffee will be served in the hotel office.
• We will not be providing room service during your stay.
• Housekeeping will knock on your door between 10am-12pm with supplies. They will take your dirty towels/trash and give you clean items at that time.
• Guest laundry facility will remain closed.
• Our housekeeping staff and maintenance will wear masks and gloves. Staff will change gloves after cleaning each room.
• Staff will be trained on proper cleaning process for COVID-19 awareness. Upon being made available by NC entities, staff will be required to become certified in COVID-19 training.
• Cleaning products used to sanitize your room are from the CDC COVID19 approved product list.
• Our facility uses industrial grade washers and dryers. All linens and towels shall be cleaned using appropriate CDC approved chemicals and washed/dried at proper temperatures as designated by New Hanover County Health Department.
• Particular attention will be paid to disinfecting high touch or hot spot items between quests. Such items include but not limited to:
-Appliance buttons/handles -Remote controls
-Cabinet knobs/handles -Electronics controls
-Lamp switches & wall switches -Room keys
-Doorknobs/handles -Toilet levers
• Personal cleaning product for your room made available upon request during your stay.
